INTERVENTION MEMORANDA
(On January 18, 2007, the Sierra Club, Wilderness Society, California Wilderness Coalition, National Parks Conservation Association, Center for Biological Diversity, and Friends of the Inyo (referring to themselves as the Conservation Groups) filed a motion to intervene in the lawsuit as defendants with the Department of the Interior et al. (On May 9, 2008, the Department of Interior and the Conservation Groups filed motions to dismiss Inyo County's suit, asserting the federal court lacks jurisdiction over the suit because it was not brought within the statute of limitations period for federal quiet title actions.)
