I am pleased to announce that this office will be conducting the 2008 Tax-Defaulted Land Auction online for the very first time. You can view the available list by clicking the link above. Our auction is scheduled for October 25-28, 2008. We are partnering with a nationally known company, Bid4Assets, whose experience with auctioning government owned property is extensive. Inyo County has become the 28th California County to contract Bid4Assets to conduct their auctions. The list will be available for viewing on Bid4Assets on September 19th where you may register to bid on any parcel. Registration is also available at our office in Independence in the Courthouse. Please contact our office where any one of our staff members are more than willing to assist you with registration or questions. I thank you for your interest.
